We offer both wet cleaning and dry cleaning of wedding gowns.  Both methods have pros and cons.  The method in which your dress will be cleaned will depend upon manufacturers suggestion as well as fabric, decorative trim, type of beads, sequins, etc.  Rest assured that your gown will be carefully analyzed and cleaned with the method that will achieve the safest and best result possible.

Following thorough professional cleaning your gown will be preserved in a specially designed acid-free protective box.  This method of preservation protects the gown from premature aging and oxidation (yellowing) caused by the surrounding environment.  This preservation box is not permanently sealed and it is recommended that you inspect your gown from time to time and gently remove and replace it inside the preservation box to avoid permanent creasing caused by folding the gown.

Unfortunately, no storage or preservation process can guarantee against fabric deterioration and oxidation (yellowing).  Beware of companies who promise these impossibilities.

Store your preserved gown in a cool, dry place.  Basements and attics experience significant shifts in temperature and humidity and are not recommended storage areas.

Open up your preservation box once every 12-24 months to inspect your gown and to prevent permanent creases caused by folding the gown.  Carefully replace the gown into the box taking care to avoid sharp folds.  Your gown will be formed with acid free tissue paper to avoid hard creases.  If you find any "new" stains during your inspection, return the gown for immediate cleaning.  Dresses may have invisible stains from food, body oils and beverages that may not appear until some time after cleaning.
